Context:
In the winter of 2023, we went on a study trip as a class to Rotterdam, where we visited our partner school. Although they had impressive equipment, it turned out that the content focus was rather limited. Together we designed a poster series, went on excursions and learned a lot about their culture and vibrant nightlife.

On our return to Biel, our class produced a magazine documenting the trip. It contains numerous pictures, interviews with teachers from Rotterdam, personal impressions and much more.

I was involved in the development of the overall concept and then worked independently on the design of the interviews. I paid particular attention to the layout, invested a lot of time in the microtypography and ensured that the typesetting was harmonious.

Collaborative work

Scope:
The result of the work is a 32-page magazine documenting the study trip. Of these 32 pages, I designed 6 completely independently and actively contributed to a further 4 pages. In particular, I typographically designed the entire interview in French. My focus was on microtypography, which allowed me to gain valuable experience in this area and ensure an aesthetically harmonious text flow.
